Anti-Racism Foundations
Commit to more than inclusion – challenge organizational and systemic discrimination.
2 Hours
Virtual or In-Person

Do you know the impact racism has on organizational reputation, productivity and success?
A report by Edelman shows that 60% of people will consider boycotting an organization if they perceive it as tolerating racist ideologies – this number jumps to 70% for people aged 18-34. Racism also impacts productivity and profitability. A study in the American Economic Journal shows that racial bias in hiring can result in employing less productive staff and impact earnings by as much as 8%.
The Anti-Racism Foundations workshop helps leaders and their teams establish a baseline understanding of how racism presents in organizational settings and provides them with the knowledge and skills to identify, address and prevent racial discrimination in the workplace.
This workshop will cover
Definitions and a practical understanding of key terms and topics (individual racism, organizational racism, systemic racism, anti-racism etc.)
Methods for identifying and addressing racism in organizational settings
An interactive action planning session to identify your organization’s anti-racism priorities (Built for your organization option)
